Our Team

Our counsellors have an MA in clinical psychology with extensive experience in mental health issues. Our psychologists hold MPhil degrees from RCI recognised universities and have worked with patients with depression, dementia, schizophrenia, addiction and other psychological disorders. All our specialists have experience conducting evaluations, screening tests, psychotherapy and counselling for individuals, groups and families.

During Counselling sessions, the therapist will help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Your counsellor will then create a treatment plan where you’ll learn how to manage your issues.

Counselling is helpful for all the issues and problems that cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, and personal domains. Some of the common reasons people seek therapy are stress, fears, sleep issues, traumas, relationship problems, difficulties in managing emotions, low motivation, difficulties in focusing/ concentrating on work, future uncertainty, and many more problems.

The primary goal of counselling is to enhance an individual's physical, mental, and social well-being. Your counsellor may encourage you to open up about your life experiences, thoughts and emotions to increase your self-awareness of recurring psychological and emotional conflicts and help you manage them effectively.

Both terms are often used interchangeably, but have significant differences. Counsellors focus on daily life problems affecting your mental health and well-being. They’re not trained to help individuals with trauma and mental illnesses. Therapists use behavioural therapy to treat people with complex issues, including mental illnesses.

Each session lasts from 45 minutes to one hour.

Yes. The counsellor will keep their video on during the session, and it is advisable for you to keep the video on as well.
