She has worked with different populations such as children, young adults, adults with critical illnesses and their caregivers and older adults with neurodegenerative diseases. In her practice, she takes on a Person Centered approach with a social justice lens. She has been trained in Transactional Analysis, CBT, REBT, Gestalt therapy and Non-directive Narrative practices. She is a Trauma Informed Practitioner and follows an eclectic approach, incorporating techniques from different therapeutic approaches and applying them in ways unique to the client’s needs. Her research interests include taking on a phenomenological lens to study lived experiences.
She describes herself as a learner, who is on a path of exploration and growth in different areas of her life. In her heart she has an endless space for dogs and a special place for pasta.
