And that includes me. But I also feel that if we create old age homes and institutions such as this, chances are that people will carry less guilt for leaving their parents, often suggesting that why don\u2019t you join there instead of coming to us. No parent would like to be away from own child. Often mothers don\u2019t reveal the physical and mental abuse that they go through. If instead, we could strengthen laws, so that children would be inclined to turn to parents, and if we made the views of elders count for changing the society, quite like using them like Roman elders, they would get more respect I suppose.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And while on this, 10000 pm, maintenance cost for parents is nonsense. It should be as per the cost of the living of the parent, and there should be tribunal deciding that. Before the children buy several mobiles and expensive toys and second or third car, they should be sparing for their parents. So we need activists who would get the laws changed accordingly. I am in tax bracket, which means I earn more than 25000 per month from my existing sources of income. Now, if my relatives take over my properties, they would be paying me 10000 per month for my upkeep that is looting.
