The match was organized by Last Man Stands Gurgaon, who raised funds for Samvedna\u00a0 Care&#8217;s Alzheimer&#8217;s Awareness program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Teams CIO, Gurgaon Giants, Palm Springs and Strikers participated in the Charity Knock Out Tournament. The first match was between Giants and Strikers. Man of the Match Saurabh Arora helped Strikers successfully defend the 170 target by taking 4 wickets. Second match was a close encounter between Palm Spring and CIOs. Anoop Kumar and Amit Mandar\u2019s consistent hitting in the chase took the game away from Palm springs. CIO\u2019s achieved the target quite comfortably.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The final was a one side affair which Strikers won easily with the help of some great batting and bowling display. All the players and umpires were given souvenirs after the match from Samvedna Care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The great thing about this event was that the collected fees from the match will be used for raising awareness about Alzheimer among underprivileged elderly. Samvedna Care thanked Krish Chhatwal- LMS Gurgaon League Manager for coming forward for a noble cause.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\">We at Samvedna Care Foundation aim to help seniors age actively and support dementia caregivers through a support group and counselling sessions. Know more about us here<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Great Times by Samvedna is our social and recreational club in Sector 57, Gurgaon, for members 55 years and above.<\/strong> Its a place where members come to get fit, meet like minded people and share their life experiences and give back to the community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Activities at the club include yoga, group meditation, mind stimulation, tambola, dancing, book reviews, movies, community outreach, and talks on health management. The club has a library, computer room, visits by physiotherapists and doctors, access to board games and cards, a fully functional pantry with healthy and affordable snacks and tea and coffee on the house.<\/p>\n<p>There are special discounts for group memberships. The club is open Monday-Friday, 11am to 2pm.<strong>There are special classes for yoga, smart phones, computers, spoken english, dance, music and painting.
